Piercing in Rhinoplasty

This is a very common question in the office. Those who have a nose piercing can, yes, have rhinoplasty — but some precautions are important.

Before surgery, the piercing needs to be removed to avoid the risk of infection and interference with the procedure. Post-operatively, the ideal is to wait for adequate healing before replacing, respecting the time of the nose and skin.

Each case is evaluated individually, because everything depends on the region of the piercing, the type of surgery and the recovery of each patient. With correct guidance, you can go through the entire process safely and calmly.

The most important thing is to always talk openly about this during the consultation. Details make a difference in the final result.
