Swelling after Rhinoplasty

Swelling after rhinoplasty is a natural and expected process, but it is temporary!

In the first few days, you may notice some swelling, especially in the area around the eyes and nose. This occurs due to tissue manipulation during the procedure and is completely normal.

👃 What can you expect?
✔️Initial swelling usually peaks within the first 2 to 3 days.

✔️After that, it begins to gradually decrease, and you will notice visible improvements every day.

✔️In 1 to 2 weeks, most of the swelling will have gone down, but fine details may take longer to adjust, up to 6 months or more.

💡 Tips to minimize swelling:
✔️Adequate rest: Avoid intense physical activity and keep your head elevated, even while sleeping.

✔️Cold compresses: In the first few days, applying cold compresses can help control swelling.

✔️Follow medical advice: This is essential to ensure a smooth and effective recovery.
